The nationally acclaimed dramatics department at Mount Carmel High School is known for its excellence in theatrical and technical work. Lead by Diane Jones, who comes from a highly professional background, the department is run with stunning professionalism, that is not often seen in high school theater departments. The Booster department, which is made up of parents, backs the students with both time and money, providing an amazing atmosphere of support from the community. It is also the students that pour their hearts and their souls into their performances, and it is because of them that the department is at the bar that it is.
